In honor of the pseudo-holiday I’ve dubbed “Toddler Appreciation Day”, here are just five of the reasons you should love your toddler today. 

#5 Adventure is their middle name. They are down for a new experience. If you lead, they will follow.

#4. Building a blanket fort and watching your favorite childhood movie will make you both smile.

#3. Hugs come freely. There are unsolicited hugs in your future. All you have to do is accept them.

#2. They will listen to your problems and not offer you bad advice, if any at all.

#1. Their “I love you” comes without conditions. They just love you.

So when your day is full of stress, remember that adventurous, loving toddler can’t wait to brighten your day.
